Revlon, a leading multinational cosmetics company, is seeking an Analytical Chemist to join the R&D team in Barcelona, reporting to the Global Manager of Analytical Services.

This is a temporary position lasting 9 months and requiring full on-site presence.

The role focuses on executing analytical testing for raw materials and finished products, ensuring compliance with established specifications and methods, while supporting multiple R&D projects in a dynamic environment.

Responsabilidades clave

  • Perform routine and non-routine analyses of raw materials and finished products following established methods and specifications
  • Execute analytical techniques, including chromatography and wet chemistry, ensuring accurate data generation and interpretation
  • Support investigations related to non-conformities, product issues, or alternative raw materials
  • Develop, validate, and improve analytical methods in line with regulatory and GMP standards
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, including reports, protocols, and validation documents
  • Provide analytical support to cross-functional teams across multiple projects
  • Supervise, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
  • Ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and organization of laboratory equipment and workspace
  • Train and support junior team members when required
  • Present results and findings in a clear and structured manner

Requisitos

Habilidades técnicas

  • Degree in Chemistry or related scientific field (Higher Vocational Training also considered with strong experience)
  • Around 3 years of experience as an analytical chemist in an industrial environment, such as cosmetics, chemicals, xcskxlj food, or pharmaceuticals
  • Hands‑on experience with chromatographic techniques (LC/GC), ideally with OpenLab software
  • Experience in potentiometric titrations and general wet chemistry techniques
  • Advanced level of English and Spanish
  • Strong Excel and general Office skills
