The Rotating Equipment Specialist Engineer shall be responsible for leading the design, evaluation, and optimization of rotating equipment (compressors, pumps, turbines and associated systems) in Oil & Gas production facilities throughout the entire asset life cycle (conceptual, FEED, execution, operations, and optimization), ensuring process safety, operational reliability, environmental compliance, and maximization of business value.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead specification, selection, and technical evaluation of rotating equipment (API 610, 617, 618, 682, etc)

• Develop and review Conceptual Engineering, Pre-FEED and FEED deliverables, including datasheets, MR, technical specifications and design bases.

• Perform and review technical bid evaluations (TBE) and vendor documentation.

• Supervise manufacturing process, inspections and FAT/SAT activities.

• Perform performance calculations, equipment sizing and validation of operating envelopes.

• Assess reliability, availability and maintainability (RAM) and support equipment criticality assessments.

• Identify and mitigate process safety risks related to the rotating machines, participating in HAZOP/HAZID and design reviews.

• Support operations in troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and performance optimization.

• Ensure compliance with international standards and company specifications.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• More than 10 years of experience in Facilities Rotating equipment Engineering in Oil & Gas.

• Strong knowledge of API standards.

• Experience in FEED / EPC projects and operational support.

• Knowledge of condition monitoring, vibration analysis and predictive maintenance techniques.

• Advanced English.

• Based in Madrid with availability to travel internationally as required.
