Key Responsibilities
As an Hydraulics Engineer , you will:
- Conduct hydraulic studies to integrate stormwater management into our projects, in coordination with fountain and irrigation systems.
- Perform modeling of hydraulic flows and sizing of storage structures (basins, networks, etc.).
- Develop a comprehensive water management strategy (stormwater, irrigation, fountains), including the design and sizing of hydraulic systems.
- Ensure regulatory compliance by analyzing urban planning documents and water law files.
- Coordinate with internal design teams and external partners.
- Drive innovation by proposing sustainable solutions and contributing to the agency’s development strategy to address urban climate challenges.
Required Profile
Technical Skills
- Education: Degree in urban hydrology, water management, mechanical engineering, architecture , or a related field.
- Expertise:
- Strong understanding of the small and large water cycles .
- Experience in stormwater management, water treatment, or irrigation .
- Familiarity with project phases in design and construction management .
- Tools: Familiarity with GIS tools, drainage networks and/or BIM environments.
Soft Skills
- Teamwork: Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
- Languages: Fluent in French and English (working languages of the firm) both we
- Personal Qualities: Open-minded, curious, rigorous, and eager to learn and grow.
Additional Assets
- Experience in international projects or collaboration with architecture firms.
- Passion for innovative solutions and climate-related challenges.
