The Facilities Senior Process Engineer is responsible for leading the design, evaluation, and optimization of Oil & Gas production facilities throughout the entire asset life cycle (conceptual, FEED, execution, operations, and optimization), ensuring process safety, operational reliability, environmental compliance, and maximization of business value.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead process evaluation, debottlenecking, and optimization studies for hydrocarbon production and treatment facilities.

• Develop and review Conceptual Engineering, Pre‑FEED, and FEED, including design criteria, operating philosophies, and bases of design.

• Perform and supervise process simulations (Aspen HYSYS or equivalent).

• Execute and review hydraulic calculations for flowlines and pipelines using specialized software as Pipesim, or GAP.

• Define technical standards, specifications, and best practices across the project lifecycle.

• Identify and mitigate process risks (HAZID / HAZOP / LOPA).

• Support operations with troubleshooting and plant optimization.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.

• More than 10 years of experience in Process / Facilities Engineering in Oil & Gas.

• Strong proficiency with HYSYS and hydraulic simulation tools.

• Advanced English level (B2+/C1).Native Spanish

• Based in Madrid with availability to travel.
