I’m partnered with a recently funded, high-growth biotechnology company building next-generation gene therapies for neurodegenerative disease, now seeking a Director of Scientific Strategy & Operations to join its executive leadership team in Madrid.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a highly visible leadership role at a pivotal stage of company growth helping shape the scientific direction, financing strategy, operational build-out, and long-term expansion of an emerging gene therapy platform.

The company is entering an ambitious new phase of development and is looking for an exceptional biotech operator who can bridge world-class science with execution, strategy, and investor engagement.

The company is especially interested in individuals with:

• ~15+ years’ experience within biotech or large pharma
• Strong gene therapy experience (highly preferred )
• Exposure to neurology or neurodegenerative disease programs
• Financing, fundraising, or investor-facing experience
• A hands-on, execution-driven mindset
