Our client is an international company operating in the industrial sector, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and long-term customer relationships. Due to continued growth, the company is looking for an Accounting & Administrative Assistant with English to join its team in Valencia.

Role Overview

The Accounting & Administrative Assistant will support the finance and administration department in daily accounting tasks, invoice management, documentation, and administrative coordination.

This is a suitable role for someone with some experience in accounting or administration who is organized, detail-oriented, and willing to continue developing professionally within an international industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day accounting and administrative activities.
  • Register, review, and file supplier and customer invoices.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Support payment follow-up and invoice reconciliation.
  • Maintain accounting records and documentation updated.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and expense control.
  • Support monthly closing activities under the supervision of the finance team.
  • Prepare basic reports and administrative documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to collect and verify financial information.
  • Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams in Spanish and English when needed.
  • Support general office administration tasks related to the finance department.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in accounting, finance administration, back office, or administrative support.
  • Basic to intermediate accounting knowledge.
  • Good level of English, both written and spoken.
  • Spanish fluency required.
  • Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, logistics, chemical, plastics, packaging, machinery, or technical environment will be valued.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience using ERP or accounting software will be a plus.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and responsible person.
  • Ability to work with numbers, documentation, and internal processes.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the finance area.

Nice to Have

  • Vocational training, degree, or studies related to Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar.
  • Experience with invoice processing, payments, collections, or administrative accounting.
  • Knowledge of another European language.
  • Previous experience in an international company.
