WHAT WOULD YOU NEED? ✍️

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in telecommunications, electronics, computer engineering or a related technical field.
  • Solid fundamental knowledge of communication and connectivity technologies (Cellular IoT, Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi).
  • Hands-on experience working with connected hardware/devices.
  • Solid understanding of FOTA/OTA update flows for connected embedded devices.
  • Hands-on experience with device‑to‑cloud communication using the MQTT protocol.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, able to investigate complex technical issues.
  • Ability to document and explain complex technical topics in a clear and structured way.
  • Good communication skills and very good command of English (spoken and written).
  • Early‑to‑mid career mindset with curiosity and motivation to grow in connected technologies.

Nice to have :

  • Experience with communication protocols and mesh networks, edge computing/Edge AI, or AWS connectivity services.
  • Exposure to preventive/predictive maintenance, AI/chatbots, and data platforms/dashboards.
  • Previous collaboration with quality, after‑sales or customer support organisations.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

You will join a Smart Devices team , responsible for the digital and connectivity experience of a large installed base of connected products in the field, working at the intersection of devices, mobile applications, cloud platforms and support operations.

  • Analyse and resolve connectivity issues related to device onboarding, pairing and network communication.
  • Investigate and support technical incidents reported by after‑sales, customer care and local markets.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert for connectivity issues in the field and provide clear guidance to stakeholders.
  • Support rollouts of new application versions, firmware and connectivity features across markets.
  • Respond to connectivity‑related questions, tickets and escalations from local market teams.
  • Prepare, update and maintain service and troubleshooting guides for connected devices.
  • Contribute to and maintain connectivity content in the internal knowledge base used by an AI chatbot.
  • Support mobile app developers and device development teams on connectivity topics and constraints.
  • Review UI designs and connectivity solutions for new features and use cases, ensuring feasibility.
  • Support Business Analysts with requirements clarification and documentation.
  • Support the Quality Lead in defining test strategies and test plans for connectivity use cases, perform connectivity testing, and participate in acceptance testing.
  • Contribute to preparation and validation of connectivity‑related KPIs and support data engineers in validating dashboards and metrics.
  • Monitor connectivity performance trends and anomalies and highlight them proactively.
  • Prepare and update chatbot content, collaborating with markets to continuously improve responses.
