The role
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Administration Specialist to join our team in Barcelona, and support HR operations in Spain. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth employee lifecycle management, delivering high-quality support to employees, and contributing to the efficiency of HR processes in a dynamic, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update employee data in HR systems, including hires, changes and departures, ensuring all documentation (contracts, certificates, permits, etc.) is accurate and properly stored
- Act as a point of contact for payroll, benefits, insurance providers and external authorities
- Respond to employee queries related to employment matters, delivering a high level of support and service
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth HR operations and adherence to agreed timelines
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports, ensuring data accuracy and relevance
- Ensure compliance with local labour regulations and keep HR processes up to date
Profile
- Initial experience in HR Administration (minimum 1 year preferred), ideally within an international environment
- Experience working with HR systems (SAP preferred)
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Proactive, detail-oriented and solution-driven mindset
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
Languages
- Fluent Spanish and English are mandatory
