Role Title: Tech-Lead Data Engineer

Location: Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain

Employment: Contract

Place of Work: Hybrid – 2 days

Experience Required: 7+ Years

Mandatory: Data Engineering with Snowflake, AWS, dbt, Python and SQL

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage technical teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and ensuring high-quality project delivery.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact, effectively bridging the gap between business stakeholders and IT development teams.
• Drive the design, development, documentation and deployment of solutions utilizing core cloud and data technologies (AWS, Snowflake, DBT, Python).
• Ensure all projects are executed efficiently, adhering to Agile/SAFe methodologies and best practices.
• Manage communication across multiple internal teams and external partners, clearly articulating the technical vision and progress.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in a senior technical role, demonstrating the ability to lead complex projects and teams.
• In-depth, hands-on experience with AWS and Snowflake is required.
• Excellent team management and leadership skills, with a track record of successfully mentoring and developing technical talent.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Extensive working experience in Agile/SAFe processes and environments.
• Demonstrated ability to deal with business stakeholders as well as IT teams, managing expectations and aligning technical solutions with business goals.
