AI Platform / MLOps Engineer
Barcelona, Spain (2 days onsite per week)
We’re partnering with an innovative technology business building large-scale AI capabilities and are looking for an AI Platform / MLOps Engineer to help scale and operate production AI systems.
This is a highly technical engineering role focused on AI infrastructure, ML platforms, automation and operational excellence — ideal for someone coming from a strong Platform Engineering, DevOps or ML Infrastructure background.
You’ll play a key role in designing and running scalable AI environments that support modern machine learning and LLM-based applications in production.
Key responsibilities:
• Build and operate scalable ML/AI platforms across training, inference and deployment pipelines
• Manage and optimise tooling including SageMaker, MLflow, feature stores and related MLOps platforms
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for ML models and AI applications
• Create reliable training and inference environments for production workloads
• Improve observability, monitoring, reliability and cost efficiency across AI systems
• Support modern LLM and agentic AI frameworks including LangChain, LangFuse and related tooling
• Work closely with engineering, platform and AI teams to improve automation and scalability
Requirements:
• Strong background in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE or ML Infrastructure
• Hands-on AWS and Terraform experience
• Strong CI/CD and infrastructure automation experience
• Experience supporting ML platforms and production AI systems
• Exposure to LLM tooling, agentic frameworks or modern AI application stacks
• Strong understanding of reliability, scalability and operational best practices
