System Accountant

OllecoBunge, a company dedicated to the collection and recycling of used cooking oil, is looking for a System Accountant.

Key Tasks

  • Responsible for provision of training and development for finance staff on financial software and reporting tools
  • Responsible for technical support and troubleshooting; providing expert support to finance teams, resolving system-related issues and diagnosing errors
  • Responsible for identification and implementation of process enhancements, automation opportunities and software solutions to streamline finance processes
  • Support design and implementation of reports to meet requirements arising from compliance obligations, business analysis and decision-making processes
  • Responsible for ensuring that systems are compliant with internal control frameworks and accounting principles
  • Responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial data, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and accounting standard
  • Support development of the framework of financial controls through system enhancements and reporting improvements
  • Work with IT, operations, external vendors, EDI providers and other stakeholders on system-related projects including implementation of new technologies, system upgrades and integrations
  • Undertake other reasonable duties as requested

Qualifications:

  • Finance qualification – degree or vocational qualification (e.g. grado superior)
  • Experience using and supporting finance systems

Desirable:

  • Prior experience as a systems accountant
  • Experience working in finance within the waste or logistics industries
  • Experience using Infor M3 and/or other Infor applications
  • Experience of project delivery
  • Fluent in Spanish. At least, B2 in English
  • Spanish driving licence
  • Communication and teamwork skills
  • Training & development skills
  • Excellent computer skills particularly Excel
