About the role:

We’re looking for a Data Engineer (AI Focus) to join our Finance team on-site. You’ll design and maintain scalable ETL pipelines, work with large-scale financial datasets, and build analytics-ready data models to power AI/ML/LLM solutions (including RAG and agent-based systems). Working closely with finance and analytics stakeholders, you’ll help evolve our data platform in a friendly, professional team environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Designing and maintaining ETL processes on Google Cloud (BigQuery, GCS, Dataproc, Airflow)
• Setting up data integrations with various services
• Working with large-scale financial and behavioral datasets
• Contributing to the evolution of our data platform and best practices
• Building analytics-ready data models for AI / ML / LLM systems
• Implementing AI solutions in data engineering and analytics (RAG, agents)
• Collaborating closely with analytics and finance teams

Core stack

• Google Cloud Platform
• Strong SQL and Python programming skills
• Spark for batch data processing and analytics
• Git, Docker

✨ Required Hard Skills and Education

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
• 2–4 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer
• English B1-B2 is a must-have
• Solid understanding of data pipelines and data warehousing concepts
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms
• Genuine interest in AI-driven analytics, ML, LLMs, and causal approaches

Nice to have

• Understanding of ML/feature engineering
• Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks such as LangChain or PydanticAI, vector databases (e.g. Qdrant)
• Understanding of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures
• Familiarity with embedding models and semantic search concepts
• Mentoring experience
