Role Summary
We are seeking an AI Product Manager to lead the development and commercialization of next-generation AI-powered IVF solutions.
This role is critical in transforming laboratory data into actionable clinical intelligence , enabling fertility clinics to improve outcomes, reduce variability, and scale operations through AI.
You will own the full lifecycle of AI-driven products (e.g., embryo ranking, lab workflow intelligence, predictive analytics), working across clinical, engineering, and commercial teams globally.
Key Responsibilities
1. AI Product Strategy & Portfolio Ownership
- Define and drive the global product strategy for AI-enabled IVF solutions
- Build a scalable AI roadmap integrating:
- Embryo assessment algorithms
- Time-lapse imaging data
- Laboratory workflow analytics
- Identify new AI opportunities aligned with clinical impact and revenue growth
2. AI Product Development
- Lead full product lifecycle:
- Concept → Data strategy → Model development → Clinical validation → Launch → Iteration
- Translate clinical and commercial needs into AI model requirements and product features
- Work closely with data science teams to:
- Define training datasets and annotation standards
- Set model performance benchmarks (AUC, sensitivity, specificity)
- Ensure continuous model improvement through real-world data
3. Clinical Integration & Validation
- Partner with embryologists and IVF clinics to ensure real-world usability
- Design and support clinical validation studies
- Translate AI outputs into clinically interpretable insights
- Ensure products support decision-making without increasing clinical risk
4. Data & Platform Strategy
- Define and manage the data ecosystem , including:
- Time-lapse imaging data
- Patient and cycle data
- Lab operational data
- Develop feedback loops to improve AI models using global clinical datasets
- Ensure data integrity, traceability, and scalability
5. Regulatory & Compliance Alignment
- Work with QARA teams to support documentation for AI validation and regulatory submissions
- Ensure AI transparency and explainability
6. Cross-Functional Project Management
- Act as the bridge between:
- AI / Data Science teams
- Clinical & Application teams
- Regulatory & Quality
- Commercial & Marketing
- Drive alignment across global teams (EMEA, APAC, US)
- Lead agile development cycles and product prioritization
7. Commercialization & Market Adoption
- Define product positioning, pricing strategy, and value proposition
- Support go-to-market strategy and distributor enablement
- Work with marketing on scientific messaging and KOL engagement
- Monitor adoption metrics and continuously optimize product-market fit
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or Life Sciences. Advanced degree (MSc / PhD) preferred
- 6+ years of product management experience in Medical devices, Digital health, AI-driven healthcare products
- Proven experience launching AI or data-driven products
- IVF / reproductive medicine experience is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of Machine learning fundamentals, Data pipelines and model validation, AI performance metrics and limitations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and data science teams
- Familiar with IVF laboratory workflows, Embryology or reproductive medicine, Time-lapse imaging systems
- Strategic thinking with strong execution capability
- Ability to operate in a complex, global environment
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams
- Customer-centric mindset (clinicians, lab managers, distributors)
- Mandarin Chinese speaking preferred
