WHAT WOULD YOU NEED? ✍️

• 3–5 years of experience in IT / Digital roles such as Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or similar, within corporate or consulting environments.
• Hands-on experience participating in sustainability / ESG projects (e.g., carbon footprint, circular economy, recycling, traceability, sustainability reporting, environmental or social impact).
• Experience working with IT & platforms , data & analytics, or digital solutions (dashboards, reporting tools, data platforms, etc.).
• Solid skills in business requirements gathering and analysis (user stories, use cases, as-is / to-be processes, functional documentation).
• Knowledge and familiarity with ESG concepts , sustainability metrics and KPIs (emissions, waste, recycling, energy, social impact, etc.).
• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders (sustainability, business, operations, supply chain, IT, external vendors) in local and/or international contexts.
• Understanding of IT standards, governance, and compliance , and willingness to apply them in day-to-day project activities.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to support workshops, meetings, and training sessions between business and technology teams.
• Analytical and data-driven mindset , comfortable working with data, KPIs, and reports to support decision-making.
• Advanced level of English (B2/C1) to work in an international environment; other languages are a plus.
• Based in Barcelona or willing to relocate.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As a Sustainability Consultant – IT & Platforms, you will support the Sustainability Lead and client teams in the operational implementation of the digital sustainability roadmap:

• Support the implementation of the client’s digital sustainability strategy from the IT & Platforms side.
• Act as an operational bridge between Sustainability / Business teams and technical teams (IT, data, platforms), helping translate ESG objectives into clear functional requirements.
• Collect and document business requirements , prepare user stories, use cases, and process descriptions for sustainability-related initiatives.
• Contribute to the design, configuration, and evolution of platforms, data tools, and reporting solutions that enable the measurement and monitoring of sustainability KPIs.
• Work closely with data / BI teams to help ensure data quality, traceability, and availability for sustainability topics (e.g., carbon footprint, recycling, responsible sourcing, product lifecycle).
• Assist in verifying that applications and platforms follow internal IT standards and governance , and are aligned across markets and business units where applicable.
• Support checks on compliance of apps and solutions with internal policies (security, data protection, quality, sustainability) and relevant external regulations and industry standards .
• Help prepare and facilitate workshops, co-creation sessions, and training with key stakeholders to gather needs, validate solutions, and promote adoption.
• Contribute to project follow-up : track tasks and milestones, identify operational issues, and support the definition of mitigation actions with the Lead.
• Assist in preparing documentation, reports, and presentations related to ESG and sustainability reporting best practices.
• Participate in a culture of continuous improvement , identifying and proposing new digital opportunities to enhance the client’s sustainability impact.
