As an R&D Project Manager (Power Electronics) , you will be responsible for leading complex product development projects from concept to industrialization. You will work closely with cross-functional and global teams to ensure successful delivery of innovative power electronics solutions, aligned with business objectives, quality standards, and time-to-market expectations.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Lead cross-functional R&D project teams (Power Electronics, Mechanics, Control & Automation, Engineering) in close collaboration with Product Owners and Program Management.
  • Drive the development of multiple product roadmap items together with the R&D technical teams and key stakeholders.
  • Define project scope, budget, planning, and milestones across different R&D initiatives.
  • Ensure transparent and efficient backlog implementation, guaranteeing quality, timing, and successful releases.
  • Develop accurate, comprehensive, and regular project reporting, including stakeholder communication.
  • Collect, clarify, and prioritize requirements in collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage risks, opportunities, and change control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Set up and manage partnerships with external development partners and production suppliers.
  • Support the roll-out of releases to supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing, ensuring smooth handover to operations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of R&D processes, promoting lean and agile ways of working.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable internal procedures, quality standards, and external regulations.

Your background

  • University degree in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or similar.
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical project management, covering full product lifecycle development (R&D, specifications, concept, design, testing, validation, qualification, and industrialization).
  • Proven experience managing product development projects in a multisite and global environment.
  • Good knowledge of Agile/Lean frameworks such as Scrum or stage-gate methodologies.
  • Experience with Power Electronics products is a strong advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, creative, and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to perform under pressure.
  • High level of autonomy, self-motivation, and accountability.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required (at least C1)
