Job Opportunity: Head of Security Architecture and Engineering at Tunstall Healthcare Group

Tunstall Healthcare Group, an international leader in health and care technology, is looking to expand its global team with a Head of Security Architecture and Engineering. This key position leads the evolution of security architecture and ensures the secure design of all products and services worldwide.

This role is a crucial part of the company’s technological transformation, focusing on cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. The position reports directly to the Global CISO and is part of a growing international team.

Location and Details

• Location: Madrid (hybrid model with flexible geographic options in European offices: Malmö, Manchester, or Yorkshire)
• Position Type: Senior Executive
• Language Requirement: English (C1 level)
• Valuable additional languages: Spanish or Swedish

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and develop a highly skilled team of security architects and engineers, ensuring alignment with international standards and ‘security by design’ principles.
2. Define and maintain the security tools portfolio and roadmaps, optimizing the company’s technological architecture.
3. Coordinate the strategy and operations of the Security Architecture and Engineering area, aligning with the Group’s Technology plans and the Global Information Security department.
4. Influence key stakeholders to foster a robust security culture across the organization.
5. Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of implemented security controls.
6. Contribute hands-on to tactical and operational tasks within the area.
7. Possess extensive cybersecurity experience, with a proven track record leading technical teams in complex multinational organizations.
8. Deep knowledge of the cybersecurity ecosystem: solutions, providers, trends, and international standards.
9. Strong technical background with the ability to manage complexity and make strategic decisions with limited information.
10. Exceptional communication skills, global influence capacity, and business-oriented vision.
11. Collaborative leadership style focused on motivation, development, and high team performance.
12. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
