Job Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize the architecture, communication protocols, and control strategies for single-axis tracker systems.
- Select, configure, and integrate control system hardware and sensors to ensure robust and reliable operation.
- Develop and maintain control-oriented engineering documentation, procedures, and test protocols.
- Conduct in-depth performance analysis and data processing to identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions.
- Provide technical customer support, diagnosing and remedying issues both remotely and occasionally on-site.
- Support system validation, debugging, and new feature integration in test-field environments.
- Analyze fleet-wide performance data to monitor health, identify trends, and drive continuous system improvements.
- System control test in dedicated testfield.
Qualifications & Experience
- Mandatory Requirements
- Proven experience in control systems architecture design for industrial applications.
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, CAN).
- Hands-on experience with control strategy development, hardware configuration, and sensor integration.
- Demonstrated ability to perform data analysis and root-cause investigation for performance issues.
- Experience in technical customer support, capable of resolving issues remotely and on-site.
- Professional proficiency in both spoken and written English and Spanish.
Preferred Experience
- Experience within the photovoltaic tracker industry or similar electromechanical control systems.
- Background in creating and following engineering procedures related to control systems.
- Hands-on experience with test-field commissioning or site installation support.
Additional Assets
- Experience in fleet-wide data monitoring and performance analysis.
- Project experience in the renewable energy sector, specifically in control system implementation.
