Job Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and optimize the architecture, communication protocols, and control strategies for single-axis tracker systems.
2. Select, configure, and integrate control system hardware and sensors to ensure robust and reliable operation.
3. Develop and maintain control-oriented engineering documentation, procedures, and test protocols.
4. Conduct in-depth performance analysis and data processing to identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions.
5. Provide technical customer support, diagnosing and remedying issues both remotely and occasionally on-site.
6. Support system validation, debugging, and new feature integration in test-field environments.
7. Analyze fleet-wide performance data to monitor health, identify trends, and drive continuous system improvements.
8. System control test in dedicated testfield.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Mandatory Requirements
2. Proven experience in control systems architecture design for industrial applications.
3. Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, CAN).
4. Hands-on experience with control strategy development, hardware configuration, and sensor integration.
5. Demonstrated ability to perform data analysis and root-cause investigation for performance issues.
6. Experience in technical customer support, capable of resolving issues remotely and on-site.
7. Professional proficiency in both spoken and written English and Spanish.

Preferred Experience

1. Experience within the photovoltaic tracker industry or similar electromechanical control systems.
2. Background in creating and following engineering procedures related to control systems.
3. Hands-on experience with test-field commissioning or site installation support.

Additional Assets

1. Experience in fleet-wide data monitoring and performance analysis.
2. Project experience in the renewable energy sector, specifically in control system implementation.
