You will be responsible to manage the proposal preparation plan, pre-proposal meetings, as well as writing and review Research and Innovation proposals. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Writing proposals for Horizon Europe (HE) and other EU funding schemes, as well as leading training programmes for new starters.
• Coordination of project partners to compile technical and financial information required for the submission of proposals.
• Communicating with high-level clients and leading brainstorming sessions to generate innovative European project ideas
• Presenting services and project information at target conferences and other type of events.

We require an experienced professional with excellent technical background. The following skills are required:

• An Engineering degree or related technical disciplines and topics (digital, energy, health, agri-food, etc).
• Minimum 5 years` experience in bids or proposals preparation ( focus on Horizon Europe, Eureka/Eurostars Programme,
• Excellent proposal writing skills, and a proven track record of good success rate (Candidates without this experience will not be considered).
• Clear understanding of proposal management process, including pre-proposal planning, strategy development and brainstorming, as well as overall proposal project management.
• Excellent facilitation skills: able to build & motivate proposal teams, and generate creativity; able to manage teams and projects under tight time pressure.
• Required excellent English writing/speaking skills (negotiation level).
• Desirable a PhD or Master degree in a science related subject.
• Very valuable having additional experience in the R&D sector and IPR issues.
• The post will be based in Madrid.
• Flexible working hours and telework.
