Group Product Manager (Pain and Mental Health) – temporary contract

Multinational company dedicated to pharmaceutical industry is looking for a Group Product Manager.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Lead the strategic direction and execution of the Pain & Mental Health portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term growth priorities.
  • Coordinate, coach, and develop a team of Product Managers, fostering collaboration, prioritization, and high-performance execution.
  • Drive the development and implementation of the 2027–2031 strategic plan for the therapeutic area, identifying growth opportunities, portfolio priorities, and future business drivers.
  • Ensure successful preparation and execution of key launches.
  • Lead lifecycle management and optimization strategies for mature brands, ensuring sustained performance and competitiveness.
  • Provide strategic guidance on brand positioning, messaging, promotional campaigns, and omnichannel initiatives.
  • Maintain deep understanding of the market environment, including competitors, pricing dynamics, launch activities, customer insights, and market trends.
  • Oversee forecasting processes to ensure accurate demand planning and minimize stock risks.
  • Monitor business performance, P&L evolution, A&P investments, and key KPIs across the portfolio.
  • Drive strong cross-functional alignment with Sales, Medical, Regulatory, Market Access, Supply Chain, and other key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate external agencies and suppliers to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure excellence in execution across congresses, events, promotional activities, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Support decision-making through performance analysis, market insights, and identification of business opportunities.
  • Train, mentor, and support team members to strengthen strategic capabilities and execution standards.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or any relevant area.
  • Desirable 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, including exposure to Pain, CNS, Mental Health, Primary Care, or related therapeutic areas.
  • Proven experience managing teams, with strong people leadership and coordination capabilities.
  • Strong strategic mindset with demonstrated ability to formulate and execute long-term business strategies.
  • Solid experience in product launches and pre-launch planning.
  • Experience managing mature brands and optimizing portfolio performance.
  • Strong knowledge of forecasting, business planning, and financial follow-up.
  • Experience working in complex cross-functional environments.
  • Excellent project management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced English level, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience with omnichannel strategies and digital initiatives is desirable.
  • Availability of traveling up to 20% of the time.
