Functions:

– Prepare, submit, and maintain CLP notifications and Poison Centre Notifications (PCN) using

UL WERCS and the IUCLID and ECHA portals.

– Author, review, and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and product labels in compliance with

GHS, CLP, and applicable regional regulatory requirements.

– Ensure SDS accuracy, consistency, and alignment with regional classification and hazard

communication requirements across internal databases and systems.

– Develop, manage, and update hazard labels using SAP, UL WERCS, and other labeling or

design platforms.

– Perform physical, health, and environmental hazard classifications for substances and

mixtures using GHS and CLP criteria.

– Evaluate raw material compositions, supplier SDS information, and toxicological data to

establish and justify product classifications.

– Monitor and interpret regulatory changes, proactively updating SDSs, labels, and related

documentation to maintain ongoing compliance.

– Classify substances and mixtures for transport in accordance with DOT, IATA/ICAO, IMDG,

ADR, and RID requirements, including assignment of PSN, UN number, packing group, and

applicable special provisions.

– Partner crossfunctionally with Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, EHS, and

Operations teams, and provide technical regulatory guidance to internal stakeholders and

external customers as needed.

Requirements:

What Makes You the Right Fit:

– Bachelor¿s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., chemistry, toxicology, environmental

science, or related field).

– 3¿5 years of experience in a technical role within a corporate or consulting firm

– Strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills, with the ability to assess complex

information and identify practical solutions.

– Proven ability to interpret, synthesize, and clearly communicate technical or regulatory

information to achieve desired outcomes.

– Demonstrated capability to work effectively both independently and as part of

crossfunctional teams.

– Selfmotivated and resultsoriented, with the ability to maintain productivity and accountability

in a remote working environment.

– Fluency in English

How You Would Stand Out:

– Working knowledge of SAP and regulatory compliance systems such as UL WERCS for SDS

authoring and product notification activities.

– Expertise in global Dangerous Goods regulations (e.g., DOT, IATA/ICAO, IMDG, ADR) and

their application to chemical classification and transport

– Strong knowledge of the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) and Safety Data Sheet

(SDS/MSDS) requirements, including hazard classification
