The role

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Administration Specialist to join our team in Barcelona, and support HR operations in Spain. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth employee lifecycle management, delivering high-quality support to employees, and contributing to the efficiency of HR processes in a dynamic, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee data in HR systems, including hires, changes and departures, ensuring all documentation (contracts, certificates, permits, etc.) is accurate and properly stored
  • Act as a point of contact for payroll, benefits, insurance providers and external authorities
  • Respond to employee queries related to employment matters, delivering a high level of support and service
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth HR operations and adherence to agreed timelines
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports, ensuring data accuracy and relevance
  • Ensure compliance with local labour regulations and keep HR processes up to date

Profile

  • Initial experience in HR Administration (minimum 1 year preferred), ideally within an international environment
  • Experience working with HR systems (SAP preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and solution-driven mindset
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach

Languages

  • Fluent Spanish and English are mandatory
