We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented trainee to join our Product & Solutions team as a Functional Test Analyst .

The trainee will support the testing team in verifying software functionalities from a clinical workflow perspective, ensuring that the system behaves correctly within real laboratory and hospital processes. The role focuses on understanding clinical use cases, verifying workflows, supporting test activities and contributing to product quality in a regulated healthcare environment.

Key Accountabilities

• Participate in defining test scenarios by translating clinical processes into test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute manual test cases and document results accurately according to defined procedures.
• Identify defects , describing issues from a clinical and end-user perspective .
• Support the Product & Solutions team in understanding and defining laboratory and hospital workflows within the software.
• Verify that implemented features align with expected clinical workflows and user needs.
• Collaborate with Solution Leader, Test and Software Engineers to clarify expected system behavior.
• Participate in release verification activities under guidance from Senior QAs.
• Gradually take ownership of defined functional areas .

What we’re looking for:

• Academic background in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Laboratory Medicine, Health Informatics or similar.
• Knowledge in laboratory workflows , such as sample handling, order management, result validation and clinical operational processes
• Interest in healthcare software systems and their role in supporting clinical and laboratory operations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize with guidance.
• Willingness to learn, adapt and grow toward increased responsibility.
• Availability for a 6-9-month internship (5- 6h/day), position already open to start right now!
• 10€/hour
