About the Role

This role involves delivering technical assistance to employees across various systems and ensuring the operational continuity of IT services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical assistance to employees across desktop systems, servers, and mobile devices (both hardware and software).
• Maintain and support business-critical applications across Linux-based systems (e.g., Ubuntu, enterprise distributions) and Windows environments.
• Coordinate the setup, configuration, and delivery of IT equipment for distributed teams.
• Install and maintain infrastructure components such as servers, networking devices, and end-user hardware.
• Administer user identities and access across both local directory services and cloud-based platforms.
• Ensure systems are up to date through regular updates, patches, and maintenance activities.
• Investigate and resolve technical incidents across different layers of the IT environment.
• Develop and maintain clear documentation to support processes and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with specialized teams to resolve more advanced technical challenges when required.
• Support additional IT-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical discipline such as IT, computer science, or engineering.

Required Skills

• Solid background (approx. 5+ years) supporting Windows-based environments.
• Hands-on experience with hardware deployment and maintenance (e.g., servers, endpoints, peripherals).
• Good understanding of networking principles (protocols, routing, firewalls, etc.).

Preferred Skills

• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Industry certifications (e.g., infrastructure, systems, or cloud technologies).
• Experience supporting Linux desktop environments.
• Exposure to virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure platforms.
• Experience working with enterprise networking solutions.
• Knowledge of multiple operating systems including mobile platforms.
• Scripting or automation capabilities.
