The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Civil / Structural Engineer with deep expertise in the European utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) market. In this role, you will head a technical team of 3 to 8 engineers, driving the structural design, geotechnical assessment, and execution of large-scale ground-mounted PV projects and solar tracker systems. Key Responsibilies

• Technical Delivery: Lead structural design for fixed mounting brackets and solar tracker (Tracker) systems for European utility-scale project
• Geotechnical Engineer ing: Oversee foundation engineering, piling analysis, and geotechnical assessments
• Team Management : Manage, mentor, and scale a technical team of 3 to 8 members
• Process Optimization : Establish internal technical standards, rigorous QA/QC review processes, and smooth team workflows
• Project Coordination : Independently coordinate project planning, cross-regional technical delivery, and multi-project parallel timelines

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, Mechanical Engineering, or Renewable Energy
• Industry Experience: 8+ years of dedicated engineering experience in the European photovoltaic industry
• Technical Expertise : Proven experience with European PV trackers, utility-scale project development, foundations, and piling
• Preferred Corporate Background : Experience working with major industry players such as Axial Structural Solutions, Nclave (TrinaTracker), Soltec, Arctech Solar, or PROINSO/PRO 5-related systems
• Soft Skills : Exceptional cross-cultural communication skills. A steadfast, logical, and non-confrontational mindset optimized for remote and cross-time-zone collaboration
• Langu ages : Full professional proficiency in English is required. Spanish language proficiency is highly advantageous
• Global Collaboration : Ability to adapt to Chinese corporate work practices. Prior experience traveling to China for business or collaborating long-term with Chinese teams is a plus.
