About the Role

We are supporting a global biopharmaceutical company in hiring a Contract Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support Phase 3 clinical trials in Respiratory / Rare Disease across Spain.

Spain is a key country for these studies, with a high number of active trial sites, and this role will be critical in ensuring strong site engagement, high‑quality data generation, and successful trial delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Trial Start‑Up

  • Attend Site Initiation Visits (SIVs) and deliver scientific presentations
  • Support site identification and feasibility assessments
  • Provide input on study protocols and scientific positioning
  • Participate in investigator meetings to build early relationships

Trial Execution & Site Support

  • Build and maintain relationships with investigators and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
  • Conduct regular site visits across Spain
  • Provide ongoing scientific and disease area expertise
  • Support patient recruitment strategies and site performance
  • Identify, escalate, and help resolve site challenges
  • Collect and share competitive and clinical insights

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Clinical Trial Operations (CTO) teams
  • Contribute to investigator meetings and study updates
  • Provide timely reports and actionable insights after site visits
  • Support site retention and issue resolution activities

Your Profile

Experience

  • Prior experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL)
  • Experience supporting clinical trials (Phase 2/3 preferred)
  • Background in respiratory, pulmonology, cardiology, or rare diseases highly preferred
  • Proven ability to engage with KOLs and clinical investigators

Education

  • Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or MSc )

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong scientific communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build credible, trust‑based relationships
  • Highly self‑sufficient and field‑oriented
  • Excellent problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Spain

Languages

  • Fluent Spanish and English (required)
