The role

The Online Marketplace Specialist will own the day-to-day operations and performance of TCL’s key e-commerce marketplace channels across global and regional platforms. This role requires a hands-on operator who can manage the full channel lifecycle – from product listing to paid campaigns – while bringing a strong understanding of both Western and Chinese marketplace ecosystems. You will report directly to the Department Manager.

Key accountabilities

1. Marketplace Operations

Manage end-to-end product listing processes across assigned channels, including titles, descriptions, images, and content accuracy.

Own channel health monitoring and resolve listing issues, suppressed content, or compliance flags proactively.

Maintain up-to-date product catalogues across platforms ensuring consistency and quality.

2. Pricing & Promotions

  • Execute pricing strategies in line with channel guidelines and competitive positioning.
  • Coordinate and implement promotional campaigns, deals, and seasonal activations across platforms.
  • Monitor competitor pricing and flag opportunities or risks to the Channel Manager.

3. Advertising & Performance

  • Set up, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns (Sponsored Products, display, etc.) across assigned marketplaces.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics including sales, traffic, conversion, and ad-spend efficiency.
  • Compile regular performance reports and provide actionable insights.

4. Cross-channel Coordination

  • Work closely with internal teams (marketing, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth campaign and launch execution.
  • Liaise with marketplace account teams and support contacts to escalate and resolve operational issues.

Your profile

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing e-commerce marketplace channels, with proven track record on Amazon and/or AliExpress as a hard requirement.
  • Solid working knowledge of at least two Chinese marketplace platforms (e.g. JD.com , Joybuy, Pinduoduo, Tmall, 1688) — full mastery not required, but real exposure is essential.
  • Familiarity with emerging platforms including TikTok Shop and Temu.
  • Experience managing the full channel scope: listings, ads, pricing, and promotions.
  • Analytical mindset with comfort working in Excel/Google Sheets and marketplace reporting dashboards.
  • Clear and proactive communication style suited to international and cross-functional stakeholder environments.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn AI tools and automation to support channel efficiency and reporting workflows.
  • Based in Madrid.
