Our client, a leading upper mid market PE fund is looking for strong additions to their team in Madrid on Associate level

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and execute investment opportunities across a broad range of industries, including financial modeling, valuation analysis, due diligence coordination, and investment committee materials preparation.
• Support portfolio company value creation initiatives by working closely with management teams on strategic, operational, and financial projects.
• Conduct industry research, market mapping, and competitive analysis to identify new investment themes and proprietary sourcing opportunities.
• Participate in all stages of the transaction process, including deal sourcing, structuring, negotiations, financing, and exit execution.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or related transaction-focused roles, or 1–2.5 years of experience in private equity.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities, including experience with valuation, LBO modeling, and transaction execution.
• Demonstrated interest in private equity investing, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
