(PV/Solar Energy) Technical Service Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and customer-oriented Technical Service Engineer to support our growing business in Spain. In this role, you will be the key technical contact for customers, ensuring high-quality support and contributing to continuous product improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional technical support for Growatt products across Spain
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues remotely via phone, email, and digital tools
  • Deliver on-site service, including:
  • System inspection and diagnostics
  • Inverter repair, replacement, and maintenance
  • Installation support and technical guidance
  • Build strong relationships with customers through regular visits and support
  • Collect and analyze technical issues, report key quality feedback, and collaborate with HQ teams
  • Prepare clear service reports and technical documentation
  • Ensure all activities comply with company standards and procedures

Your Profile

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field
  • Experience in solar (PV) industry or power electronics is highly preferred
  • Fluent in Spanish (mandatory)
  • English and Portuguese are a strong advantage
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Spain
  • Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools (e.g. multimeter, RS485, etc.)
  • Proactive, reliable, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
