We are at Coforge hiring for QA Engineer with NDC (New Distribution Capability), microservices, Karate Framework (API Testing, BDD, Karate Gatling)

Job Description:

• The position is part of the NDC (New Distribution Capability) product, built on a pure microservices architecture, 100% backend, following the IATA standard. It is currently one of Client’s most strategic products. The profile we are looking for will report directly to the QA Lead and will have a dual mission:
• On one hand, technical execution of automated and performance tests . On the other, supporting the QA Lead in the growth of the team through mentoring, internal training, code reviews, and the promotion of best practices across squads.
• In addition, Client is undergoing a full transformation toward a shift‑left culture , so we are looking for someone aligned with this philosophy and able to contribute actively to it.

Must‑have

• Solid experience with Karate Framework (API Testing, BDD, Karate Gatling).
• Experience testing microservices architectures (REST APIs, service‑to‑service integrations).
• Strong knowledge of performance and load testing with k6 (our standard) and/or JMeter (scripts are created and executed by the development team, not QA).
• Understanding of contract testing in microservices environments.
• Ability to share knowledge: mentoring, code reviews, training sessions.
• Experience with Shift‑Left Testing.
• Playwright focused on backend testing (APIs, mocking).
• Experience with Dynatrace or other APM/observability tools.
• Knowledge of the NDC (IATA) standard or the travel/airline sector.
