At Amaris Consulting , we partner with leading global companies to deliver cutting‑edge SAP solutions. We are now looking for an SAP Fiori ESS/MSS Functional & Technical Consultant (S/4HANA HCM) to join our team and support a large‑scale HR digitalization project (10,000+ employees worldwide).You will be the key reference for the design and rollout of Employee Self‑Service (ESS) and Manager Self‑Service (MSS) solutions on SAP S/4HANA HCM , working closely with HR, IT, Security and business stakeholders.

✍️ WHAT WOULD YOU NEED?

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, HRIS or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in SAP HCM .
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP Fiori implementations.
  • At least 3 full‑cycle ESS/MSS implementations .
  • Experience in large environments (5,000+ employees) .
  • Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA projects.
  • Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of SAP HCM (PA, OM, Time Management, Payroll integration).
  • Hands‑on experience with:SAP Fiori Launchpad (catalogs, groups, spaces, pages).
  • SAPUI5 and coordination of custom developments.
  • SAP Gateway and OData services configuration.
  • SAP Authorization concepts , PFCG role design , authorization objects.
  • SAP Transport Management , application lifecycle management.
  • Integration with SAP IAS/IPS , SAP Web Dispatcher , Active Directory / Azure AD .
  • Functional & Project Skills
  • Deep understanding of ESS/MSS processes (leave requests, approvals, team calendar, etc.).
  • Experience designing role‑based access models for employees, managers, HR and executives.
  • Experience in testing cycles (SIT, UAT), deployment and hypercare.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to work with HR, IT, Security and Basis teams.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Spanish is a strong plus).

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As SAP Fiori ESS/MSS Consultant, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end implementation of the self‑service platform:

  • Solution Design & Architecture
  • Analyze business and HR requirements and design ESS/MSS solutions aligned with HR processes and policies.
  • Define the overall Fiori architecture for a user base of ~10,000 employees and 1,000–1,500 managers.
  • Recommend standard Fiori apps and identify needs for custom developments .
  • Design role‑based access models for different user groups.
  • SAP HCM Functional Activities
  • Configure and integrate ESS/MSS processes such as:Leave Request & Approval
  • Team Calendar / Team Absence Overview
  • Manager Approvals / My Approvals
  • Ensure compliance with internal HR policies and legal requirements.
  • Align ESS/MSS processes with Time Management and Payroll integration.
  • Fiori & Technical Responsibilities
  • Configure and manage the SAP Fiori Launchpad .
  • Deploy, activate and optimize standard Fiori applications (ESS & MSS).
  • Configure SAP Gateway and OData services .
  • Coordinate SAPUI5 custom developments with technical teams.
  • Define and manage catalogs, groups, spaces and pages .
  • Ensure performance and scalability for high‑volume usage.
  • Security & Integration
  • Design and implement:SAP roles , PFCG roles , authorization objects.
  • Fiori catalogs, spaces and pages aligned with SoD and security standards.
  • Support SSO and integration with IAS/IPS and Active Directory / Azure AD .
  • Integrate ESS/MSS with:SAP S/4HANA HCM
  • SAP Gateway
  • Payroll and Time Management systems
  • Collaborate closely with Basis and infrastructure teams.
  • Testing, Deployment & Change Management
  • Prepare functional specifications , test scripts , UAT plans and deployment plans .
  • Execute system integration testing and performance testing .
  • Support go‑live and hypercare activities.
  • Conduct stakeholder workshops , create training materials and user guides .
  • Drive user adoption of ESS/MSS and support change management initiatives.
