We are looking for a full-time employee for our group of companies at the Madrid site:
Senior Electronic and Firmware Engineer
Your Role:
- Take a central technical role in developing electronic and embedded firmware solutions for data loggers at the heart of data acquisition, transmission, and management for sensors in meteorological and solar application.
- Work closely with R&D colleagues in Madrid and across other locations, as well as with Production, Product Management, customers, and suppliers
- Drive development topics from concept through implementation, validation, and release with strong ownership
- Contribute to the technical direction of the team through independence, teamwork, and clear communication

What you bring to the role:
- Several years of experience in electronics and embedded firmware development for microcontroller-based products
- Strong C/C++ skills, ideally in Keil and/or ST environments for Cortex-M microcontrollers, including ST or NXP
- Experience with communication networks and protocols (such as LTE, NBIoT, LoRa, Zigbee, Modbus, MQTT or REST APIs) and with the integration of hardware and peripherals (such as GPS or USB).
- Skills in developing configuration interfaces using embedded web technologies.
- Knowledge of RTOS, low-power design and robust embedded data handling
- A structured, hands-on, and analytical way of working, with the ability to drive topics forward independently
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in an international environment, with leadership potential and good English skills
