Our client is seeking a Snowflake Data Engineer to support a large-scale cloud data migration, transforming legacy platforms into a modern, scalable architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and integration tools.
• Lead migration from legacy systems (e.g., Teradata) to Snowflake, ensuring data quality and performance.
• Develop and manage Snowflake objects (tables, views, procedures).
• Optimize performance (clustering, partitioning, query tuning).
• Leverage Snowflake features (Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Time Travel).
• Ensure data security , governance, and access control.
• Automate data ingestion and transformation workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.

Requirements

• Strong Snowflake experience in data engineering environments.
• Advanced SQL across platforms (Teradata, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Proven experience in data migration and pipeline optimization.
• Knowledge of Snowflake ecosystem (external stages, RBAC, storage integration).
• Scripting skills (Python/Shell) and familiarity with CI/CD practices.
• Experience with tools like dbt, Fivetran, or Databricks is a plus.
• Fluency in English required.
