Amaris is looking for a Senior Consultant in Health Economics and HTA to join our dynamic and international team in Barcelona! As part of our HEMA department (Health Economics & Market Access – ).

About the role :

As part of the growth of our Market Access practice, we are looking for a Value Communication & Medical Writer to join our international team.

You will contribute to a wide range of global projects combining value communication, evidence synthesis, and medical writing within the HEOR environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and support strategic initiatives for pharmaceutical and medtech clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality scientific and medical content, including:
  • Manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications
  • Abstracts and conference posters
  • Value communication materials (value dossiers, value stories, payer tools)
  • Conduct and support evidence synthesis and data analysis (literature reviews, clinical and HEOR data)
  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling, and audience-adapted messages (HCPs, payers, patients)
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of all deliverables (editing, proofreading, data checking, referencing)
  • Support project management activities: timeline tracking, coordination with clients and stakeholders
  • Work across multiple projects and therapeutic areas simultaneously
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Market Access, HEOR, statistics, etc.)

Your Profile

  • Degree in life sciences (Master’s or equivalent)
  • 2–5 years of experience in medical writing, value communication, or HEOR
  • Proven experience in manuscript writing (publications strongly preferred)
  • Understanding of Market Access and/or HEOR is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex data
