Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor inbound shipments from suppliers, ports, and distribution centers.
- Manage end-to-end import and customs clearance processes to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and government authorities to resolve clearance or transportation issues.
- Review shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and import permits.
- Ensure accurate tariff classification, customs valuation, and duty/tax compliance.
- Track inbound deliveries and provide shipment visibility updates to internal teams.
- Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, planning, and finance teams to support operational continuity.
- Monitor logistics KPIs such as transit time, customs delays, freight costs, and supplier performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve inbound logistics efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain records and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support audits and ensure adherence to trade compliance and customs regulations.
- Handle escalation management for delayed, damaged, or non-compliant shipments.
