SAP MM Consultant

At Hays, we are partnering with a leading international company in the renewable energy sector to support the evolution of their SAP landscape.

The mission is to design, implement, and optimize SAP MM (Source-to-Pay) processes within S/4HANA, ensuring robust, scalable, and efficient procurement and materials management capabilities across global operations.

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant who can combine strong functional expertise with hands-on delivery capabilities in complex transformation projects.

What you will do

• Design, implement and support SAP processes for Direct & Indirect Purchasing, Material Management, Material Master Data, Inventory Management, Physical Inventory, Spare Parts Management and Valuation.
• Work in S/4HANA rollout projects for STP (Source to Pay) or MM design, customization, FUT, SIT, UAT, Cutover, Go Live and Hypercare.
• Design and implement RICEFW solutions for MM area.
• Integrations with other modules: LE, SD, PP, FI…
• Interfaces with other SAP or non-SAP systems like: Ariba, SNC, EDI.
• Technical and consultancy for Business users globally for MM area.
• Coordination of MM team with external consultants and AMS team.

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of experience as SAP MM / STP Consultant
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or similar
• Strong experience working in SAP S/4HANA environments
• Solid knowledge of Procure-to-Pay, Inventory Management, Invoicing, Material Master Data, and MRP processes
• Experience with Release Strategies and Flexible Workflow
• Understanding of pricing processes and valuation in SAP
• Familiar with SAP Ariba and SAP Fiori
• Experience integrating SAP MM with other modules such as SD, FI, PP, and LE
• Knowledge of logistics execution integrations (EWM, TM)
• Ability to work in international environments and support global users
• Strong communication, ownership, and teamwork skills

Nice to have

• Experience working in international or global rollout projects
• Exposure to AMS environments or team coordination
• Knowledge of additional SAP modules (SD, FI, PP, LE)
